A 52-year old man accused of attacking his father in a community-based residential facility in Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin has been given two years probation. James J. Conklin was granted probation as part of a plea agreement in a case that saw him accused of elder abuse against his own father for counts including intentionally subjecting an individual to risk of abuse, causing bodily harm and a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. Conklin was arrested when staff at the residential facility where his father was staying saw a physical fight break out between the two men.
