An ex-nursing home worker at Castle Pines nursing home in Lufkin, Texas charged with Injury to the Elderly and Attempted Sexual Assault has been released from jail. The Judge allowed his conditional release as he awaits his July 18th trial date.

The man charged with nursing home abuse allegedly exposed himself to an elderly female nursing home resident and asked her to touch him inappropriately as he was helping her use the restroom. When the elderly woman refused him the man allegedly forced her down which caused bruises to her body.

The man was released from jail under the conditions that he cannot enter any type of health care facility and he is not allowed to contact his accuser or her family.

Sexual abuse in nursing homes, while very disturbing, is not a rare occurrence in our country. If you or a loved one has been abused in any way at a nursing home you should contact the authorities immediately, and get in touch with a nursing home abuse lawyer to help you receive justice for your abuse.
